What Is In It
The full breakdown.
A serving is six capsules, taken as three twice daily.

Why It Is In
The most researched ingredient in sport, at the dose the research uses. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise, and 3g a day is the amount the claim is authorised at.

Why It Is In
Root extract standardised to 5% withanolides, which is the extract named in the published literature. Generic root powder costs a fraction and carries none of the standardisation, so we pay for the named one and print it.

Why It Is In
A 4:1 root extract, so 250mg carries the ginsenoside content of 1,000mg of raw root. The ratio is printed on the label alongside the weight, because a weight on its own tells you nothing about an extract.

Why It Is In
Elemental magnesium in the citrate form, chosen for absorption over oxide. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and normal protein synthesis, and with vitamin B6 to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Why It Is In
Elemental zinc at the full reference intake, held there rather than pushed higher because zinc competes with copper for absorption. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Why It Is In
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, the active coenzyme form, so the body skips a conversion step. Vitamin B6 contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Why It Is In
Methylcobalamin at 500µg, which reads as 20,000% of the reference intake because the reference intake is 2.5µg. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Why It Is In
The long-chain menaquinone form, paired with D3 by design rather than by accident. Vitamin K2 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

Why It Is In
2,000 IU from lichen rather than lanolin, so the formula stays vegan without dropping the dose. Vitamin D3 contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Why It Is In

† No Nutrient Reference Value has been established for this ingredient. NRV percentages are set against the GB reference intakes for an average adult.
Other ingredients: vegan capsule shell (HPMC), maltodextrin, arabic gum, MCT from coconut oil, ascorbic acid, d-alpha tocopherol, microcrystalline cellulose. No proprietary blends. Every active is listed above with its exact dose.
How It Fits Together
Chosen as a set.
-
D3 + K2
Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are formulated together. K2 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, and the two are conventionally paired in supplement design rather than taken apart.
-
Mg + B6
Magnesium and vitamin B6 both contribute to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium also contributes to normal muscle function and normal protein synthesis.
-
Zn + D3
Zinc and vitamin D3 both contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Zinc sits at 100% NRV and D3 well above it, for the reasons set out on each page.
-
Piperine
Black pepper extract at 95% piperine is included for its role alongside the other actives rather than for an effect of its own. It is the smallest dose on the label and the least glamorous decision in the formula.
